Another big week in the NFL going 5-2 to bring my season record to 39-23-1 (62.9%). My NCAA game continues to lag after a 3-5-1 week dropping my season total to 44-42-4 (51.2%). I'm on fire in the NFL and look to continue my success this week and turn around my season in the College ball.

Week 11:

NCAA:

(1.) Ohio (-2.5) at Akron

Ohio has turned their season around while Akron continues to slide after a strong start to the season. It's tough to go with the road team in rivalry games, but Ohio is the play here. Ohio has the edge in coaching, momentum, and has a powerful running game. Look for the Bobcats to run their way to victory in this matchup.

Pick: Ohio by 13

Result: Akron 48, Ohio 37 (Loss)

(2.) USC (-3.5) at California

The Trojans own the Bears and this year will be no different. California has played poorly since their thrashing of Tennessee, except the Oregon game. Cal can't seem to put it together and USC is in their heads. The Trojans are slowly getting back to the powerhouse they should be.

Pick: USC by 11

Result: USC 24, Cal 17 (Win)

(3.) Conneticut (+6) at Cincinnati

The Huskies are the real deal and will play the Bearcats tight this week on the road. The Bearcats have been rolling since their upset loss to Pittsburgh. I expect a defensive battle in this one with the spread being inflated.

Pick: Cincinnati by 1

Result: Cincinnati 27, UConn 3 (Loss)

(4.) San Diego St. (+2.5) at UNLV

The Aztecs have been playing well lately and I picked up a win with them last versus Wyoming. UNLV is at home, but hasn't been impressive over their current stretch of games. Look for San Diego St. to continue thier solid play and come away with a big road MWC victory.

Pick: San Diego St by 3

Result: SD ST. 38, UNLV 30 (Win)

(5.) Indiana (-2) at Northwestern

Lewis to Hardy is a lethal combination and Indiana has real opportunity to improve their bowl status with this win. Northwestern has played above expectations this season and has sputtered of late. Indiana is the better team and the play this week even on the road.

Pick: Indiana by 6

Result: NW 31, Indiana 28 (Loss)

(6.) Arkansas (PK) at Tennessee

It's tough to go against the Vols at home, but I really like this Razorback team and think they may be the second or third best team in the SEC. McFadden and Jones are unstoppable and will cause the Vols defense problems all game. This is going to be tight throughout, but I'll take the Razorbacks and their Heisman hopeful.

Pick: Arkansas by 2

Result: Tennessee 34, Arkansas 13 (Loss)

(7.) NC St. (-3.5) v. North Carolina

O'Brien has the Wolfpack playing inspired ball and they will be up for this big rivalry game at home. Coming off big victories over Virginia and Miami I expect the Wolfpack to take care of their crosstown rivals in this ACC showdown.

Pick: NC St. by 9

Result: NC St. 31, UNC 27 (Win)

(Blowout of the Week) M Tennessee (-13.5) v. LA-Lafayette

M Tennessee is probably the second best team in the Sun Belt conference and will take care of Lafayette at home. The Cajuns have struggled on the road this season and their road troubles will continue this week at Flyod Stadium.

Pick: M Tennessee by 27

Result: La-Lafayette 34, M Tenn 24 (Loss)

(Underdog Play of the Week) Wisconsin (+3) v. Michigan

This is a huge game for the Badgers and the home contest the Wisconsin faithful have waited all season for. Camp Randall will be rocking and fire up the disappointing Badgers. Michigan has played very average ball lately and it will finally catch up to them this week.

Pick: Wisconsin by 3

Result: Wisconsin 37, Michigan 21 (Win)

NFL:

(1.) Green Bay (-6) v. Minnesota

The Pack return home off an impressive road trip knocking off the Broncos and Chiefs. The Vikings are coming off a huge victory over the Chargers in Minnesota. The Viking run the ball well and stop the run. However, the Packers stop the run and don't run the ball. Favre will light up the Vikings terrible secondary and the Pack continue their hot streak which dates back to the last month of last season.

Pick: Packers by 13

Result: Packers 34, Vikings 0 (Win)

(2.) Cleveland (+10) at Pittsburgh

This is a huge for the Browns. If the Browns are serious about making a run at the playoffs they need to be in this game. If they get routed by the Steelers again, this team is going nowhere this season. Pittsburgh is extremely difficult at home, but the Browns will show up in this one and the Steelers are coming off a short week.

Pick: Steelers by 6

Result: Steelers 31, Browns 28 (Win)

(3.) Arizona (-1) v. Detroit

The Cardinals play well at home and the Lions still struggle on the road. The Lions have been hot and the Cards have struggled, but I expect things to be different this week. I expect the Cards defense to have a strong showing and the crowd direct the Cards to a big win.

Pick: Cardinals by 6

Result: Cardinals 31, Lions 21 (Win)

(Blowout of the Week) Baltimore (-4) v. Cincinnati

The Ravens were destroyed on Monday night by the hated Steelers. The defense was put in many poor positions early due to turnovers by the offense. The Bengals are horrible and have no leadership at this point. Lewis should be fired at season's end as this team needs to be restructured. The Ravens will take out their frustrations this week on the mentally and physically soft Bengal team.

Pick: Ravens by 11

Result: Bengals 21, Ravens 7 (Loss)

(Upset Special) Jacksonville (+4) at Tennessee

The Jags were upset in week 1 by the Titans and will return the favor this week in Nashville. The Jags need this game to have any hope of making the playoffs as a wildcard. The Jags were humilated in New Orleans last week and will rebound this week against the Titans. I expect both offenses to show up in this one.

Pick: Jaguars by 5

Result: Jaguars 28, Titans 13 (Win)

(Over 35) Jacksonville at Tennessee

This one will have a playoff atmosphere about it. If the Titans sweep the Jags and have a two game lead over them, it's lights out in J-ville. Del Rio and the crew are well aware of this and will bring thier "A" game. A surprising shootout in Tennessee

Result: 41 points -- Jaguars 28, Titans 13 (Win)

(Under 45) Detroit at Arizona

The Cards will stifle the Lions offense and Detroit won't have the luxury of playing in the cozy dome in Detroit. The Lions defense is improved and the Cards offense is unpredictable. I think this one will be well under the 45 mark.

Result: 52 points -- Cardinals 31, Lions 21 (Loss)
